The Seahawks clearly saw something nobody else did in Hayden Hatten, taking him 129 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. About as rough as the board gets, and a F to prove it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while linebacker, running back and other spots went begging. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers. The Nubin pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left linebacker open, and the grade is the bill.
