Nobody else had Kaimon Rucker anywhere near the Round 2 slot. The Commanders did, by 87 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

They banked enough surplus on Felton to cover a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

If Kenneth Grant and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
