The Panthers bled value on every deal, hence the D-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Panthers did exactly that with Xavier Worthy in No. 33.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Adding Diontae Johnson by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and safety is still a hole.
