Williams is the plan now, and the Bears grade out a B+.

Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. However the rest shakes out, Dixon at that price is a win they earned. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
