The Cowboys looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Ty Thompson at the 204th pick regardless, 84 picks early. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Landing Neal that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.
