Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

If Rouse pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will answer for taking TE-EDGE early while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Hardy steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
