The Broncos let Dial fall and pounced. Final grade: D.

The Broncos lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

Nugent has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Melton pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and edge rusher.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. However the rest shakes out, Dial at that price is a win they earned.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
