The Texans torched the value chart for Jaheim Bell, taking him 39 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Odunze falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
