London Fletcher Madden Career 2000-2014 - Peak 93 OVR

London Fletcher came out of John Carroll, a Division III school in Ohio, went undrafted in 1998, and then played 16 seasons without ever missing a game. He won a ring almost immediately, starting for the St. Louis Rams team that beat Tennessee 23-16 in Super Bowl XXXIV. Undersized and overlooked, he became one of only a handful of players ever to appear in more than 250 consecutive games, piling up better than 2,000 career tackles across stints with the Rams, Bills, and Washington. The Pro Bowl finally noticed late, calling him four straight years from 2009 through 2012, deep into his thirties.

Madden respected the consistency long before the Pro Bowls did. He was already an 87 in the 2000 edition and hit 93 in the 2005 edition, then held in the 90s for years, a 92 in 2006 and still a 91 in both the 2010 and 2012 editions. Only in his final season did the number fall, to 82 in the 2013 edition, as the tackles kept coming but the legs finally aged.
