Draft Profile: Bio
Ben Murawski was a three-year starter, team captain and second-team all-state pick at St. Thomas More in Oakdale, Connecticut, where he also played basketball. He grew up in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.Murawski redshirted at UConn in 2022, made his first start against Tennessee in 2023 and started six games at left guard in 2024. He moved to left tackle in 2025, started all 12 games and was named a second-team Group of Five All-American by HERO Sports, finishing his UConn career with 19 starts in 30 games.
Murawski was Michigan State's first portal signing under Pat Fitzgerald in January 2026 and has started at left tackle. He left the opener against Toledo with an undisclosed injury but returned. He was also picked for the Outland Trophy watch list and Phil Steele's preseason second-team All-Big Ten. He has played in seven of Michigan State's eight games.
Scouting Report: Strengths
- Physical run blocker who moves defenders at the point
- Experienced starter at left tackle and left guard
- Gave up one pressure each against Toledo and Eastern Michigan
- Huge frame that is tough to bull rush
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Allowed two sacks to Nebraska in one game
- Wisconsin pressured him three times in a 31-3 loss
- Average feet for left tackle, so guard may be his best fit
- Left the opener against Toledo with an undisclosed injury
- Flagged twice in a 33-snap outing against Illinois
Scouting Report: Summary
Murawski is a big, powerful lineman whose best work comes in the run game. He moves defenders off the ball, has experience at tackle and guard, and his frame makes him hard to push back. However, his pass protection on the left side has been uneven. Nebraska got two sacks against him, Wisconsin pressured him three times, and he lacks the foot speed of a natural left tackle. He also left the opener with an injury.
Overall, Murawski is a strong, experienced lineman who may be best suited inside. He projects as a priority free agent backup at guard or right tackle.

For instance, being in the 90th percentile for a particular stat means the player outperformed 90% of their peers in that category.
*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
