Gee Scott Jr. from Eastside Catholic High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Scott Jr. opted to join Ohio State.In 2020 as a freshman Scott Jr. saw action in just 3 games for the Buckeyes and didn't feature in the passing game.
As a sophomore in 2021 he played 6 games and had just 5 catches for 42 yards for an average of 8.4 yards per catch, with no TDs, and QB rating when targeted of 86.6.
As a junior in 2022 he played 12 games and hauled in just 5 catches for just 28 yards for an average of 5.6 yards per catch, with one TD, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 117.9.

- A lean athlete with obvious upside. Soft hands. Flashes the ability to make the outstanding catch.
- Size limitations are obvious, but he's a tough pound-for-pound blocker.
- Varies the speed of his route, using hesitation and shoulder fakes to get the defender guessing.
- He’s also a catch-and-run threat, a creative runner who has good vision in the open field; he’ll be an option to return kicks as well.
- Although Scott is more of a possession target than a field stretcher, he fiercely competitive demeanor and run-after-catch ability make him a major threat in the middle of the field.
- Has the burst off the snap to be split out wide in the NFL
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Scott has constantly ran a limited route tree.
- Scott also lacks suddenness as a route runner, and that is a potential issue at the next level.
- Will have his share of drops with inconsistent focus and too often tried running with the ball before the catch.
