Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Wiley at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Patriots indulged a want in Solomon while a need in edge rusher and safety stayed open.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
