The war room fell hard for TJ Ferguson, and it showed at pick 245: 62 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. It is not that Hubbard is a bad player; it is that the 49ers had louder needs to answer first.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That Delane pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
