The Eagles did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Dominic Zvada fell into pick No. 194. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. The Micah Parsons pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Tyler Warren and all.
Pick-by-Pick
Tyler Warren at the 63rd pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Steal is underselling it; Andrew Mukuba at the 128th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Barrett Carter in the Round 4 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Jake Majors at pick 164 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A need, and now a little less of one.
The board fumbled Smael Mondon Jr. all the way to slot 166, and they scooped it up. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
A specialist of that caliber at No. 194 is the definition of value, full stop. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
