Call it larceny. Wyatt Milum sat on the board until the Round 5 slot, and the Vikings did not need to be asked twice. The bottom line is a respectable B.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
Steal is underselling it; Ashton Jeanty at Round 3, Pick 33 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Jahdae Barron in pick 138 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
They robbed the room for Wyatt Milum here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
