The Dolphins put a flag in the ground for Cole Payton, 81 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Stowers at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The trade work was a quiet net positive. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
