The Raiders answered their biggest question with Mendoza. Grade: B.

The Raiders spent the pick that matters most on Fernando Mendoza, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They banked enough surplus on Muhammad to cover a lot of smaller sins. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The veteran additions, A.J. Brown chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
