You can hear the double-takes from here. The Panthers took Tony Rojas at the 19th pick, roughly 352 spots before his name belonged.

However the rest shakes out, Fano at that price is a win they earned. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

If Tony Rojas and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
