Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Dolphins spent No. 48 on Payton Thorne, a name the board had a full 422 spots lower. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The whole projection now runs through Garrett Greene; hit there and everything else looks smarter. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will answer for taking specialist early while wide receiver, edge rusher and other spots went begging.
