The rest of the league will want that one back. Dillon Thieneman tumbling to the Commanders in the 55th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

The cost of the Whittington reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
