A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Commanders get a C+.

The Trey Zuhn III pick is the one that will follow the Commanders into the fall. They took him 25 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Benson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
