The Steelers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and A.J. Haulcy fell into Round 3, Pick 21.

Klubnik has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With edge rusher unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
