The Wesley Williams selection is the head-turner. The Chiefs reached 58 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. A mixed bag that lands at C-.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Getting Caldwell where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
