You could see the war room lean forward. Evan Stewart at slot 163 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They are betting Stowers proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
