The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named tight end, a need the Cowboys walked right past. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

If Guyton pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Trotter Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
