The tape said wait; the 49ers did not. Zane Durant went at pick 133, a good 58 picks before the board was ready. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Landing Parker II that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
