Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Malaki Starks got past him. The Eagles do not have to explain a thing at the 96th overall pick. The bottom line is a respectable B.
For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Every board in the league had Barrow Jr. lower, and that gap is the story.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 32 they get a difference-maker at receiver, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Jalon Walker in pick 64 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
The board fumbled Malaki Starks all the way to the 96th pick, and they scooped it up. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Steal is underselling it; TreVeyon Henderson at No. 129 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
