The trade table was a mismatch, and the Patriots were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The King pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
