The Patriots put a flag in the ground for Jared Wiley, 108 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Landing Guyton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
