The 49ers did not so much draft Derrick Moore as overpay for him, 40 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Lew steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

The 49ers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
