Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Seahawks were there to profit. D'Angelo Ponds, the No. 47 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 96.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Every board in the league had Wheatley lower, and that gap is the story.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
