The Patriots let Corley fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Malachi Corley, the No. 79 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 103.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The Murphy pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
