The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They are betting McGlothern proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

That Gore Jr. pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
