After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Scott falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They will need Pavia to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
