Overall C+
ValueD- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Buccaneers for Golday: C+.

Call it larceny. Jake Golday sat on the board until Round 5, Pick 15, and the Buccaneers did not need to be asked twice. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The cost of the Roush reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.

Pick Analysis
Pick15 Rnd1 Sam Roush
A big swing on Sam Roush at the 15th pick, well ahead of any board in the building. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick46 Rnd2 Jonah Coleman
Jonah Coleman at the 46th overall pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It fills a real need, too.
Pick77 Rnd3 Zion Young
They barely believed it either: Zion Young still on the board at Round 3, Pick 13. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick116 Rnd4 Lee Hunter
They robbed the room for Lee Hunter here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick155 Rnd5 Jake Golday
They will replay Jake Golday at No. 155 for years; that is how good the value is. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick195 Rnd6 Keylan Rutledge
Keylan Rutledge in the Round 6 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick229 Rnd7 Domani Jackson
Steal is underselling it; Domani Jackson at pick 229 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
