The Commanders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D+.

The tape said wait; the Commanders did not. Drew Allar went at the 7th pick, a good 143 picks before the board was ready. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

However the rest shakes out, Pregnon at that price is a win they earned. The whole projection now runs through Drew Allar; hit there and everything else looks smarter.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and wide receiver is still a hole.
