The Steelers won the night they stopped Scott from sliding. Grade: B-. Somebody in the Round 4 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Keionte Scott, the No. 62 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
If Perkins Jr. pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while quarterback, edge rusher and other spots went begging.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
