Nobody had Xavier Restrepo this high, and it is not close. The Patriots reached 35 spots to get him at the 188th pick. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Landing Turner that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Adding T.J. Watt by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
