The Eagles let Branch fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Somebody in the Round 4 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Eagles sat still while Zachariah Branch, the No. 59 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

Reaching for Green left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
