After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Bo Nix is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

Spending an early pick on DT-EDGE with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
