You can hear the double-takes from here. The Cardinals took Jacob Rodriguez at Round 2, Pick 2, roughly 42 spots before his name belonged. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Canady falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The back end got a real overhaul.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
