The steal of the weekend belongs to the Commanders and Hood: D.

The board owed the Commanders one, and it paid up: Colton Hood, the No. 26 name on the board, sitting there at slot 223 like a gift left on the doorstep.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
