Draft Grade — Packers

The Packers robbed the room for Johnson. Final grade: B. The Packers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Emmett Johnson, the No. 98 name on the board, in pick 121.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Gulbin has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick52
Rnd2
Christen Miller
Christen Miller is a better player than No. 52 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick91
Rnd3
Daylen Everette
Daylen Everette slipping to the Round 3 slot is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick111
Rnd4
Julian Neal
Julian Neal in the 111th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick120
Rnd4
Parker Brailsford
No edge and no loss on Parker Brailsford in slot 120; it is a wash and a sensible one. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick121
Rnd4
Emmett Johnson
They will replay Emmett Johnson at pick No. 121 for years; that is how good the value is. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick126
Rnd4
Davison Igbinosun
They paid sticker price for Davison Igbinosun in pick 126, and that is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick160
Rnd5
Matt Gulbin
A real head-scratcher, Matt Gulbin in Round 5, Pick 20 is miles ahead of his ranking. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick201
Rnd6
Keagen Trost
Keagen Trost at the 201st pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick236
Rnd7
Zxavian Harris
They let Zxavian Harris come to them and pounced at Round 7, Pick 20. The roster fit checks out.
Pick255
Rnd7
Trey Zuhn III
Trey Zuhn III at slot 255 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
