The Patriots robbed the room for Guyton. Final grade: B+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Tyler Guyton tumbling to the Patriots in the 68th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Adding Anders Carlson by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.

In the 3rd pick they get a true top target at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick42 Rnd2 Jordan Morgan
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jordan Morgan at the 42nd overall pick. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick68 Rnd3 Tyler Guyton
Taking Tyler Guyton in Round 3, Pick 4 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. The roster fit checks out.
Pick92 Rnd3 Christian Mahogany
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Christian Mahogany in No. 92. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick103 Rnd4 Michael Pratt
No edge and no loss on Michael Pratt in the Round 4 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
