Quarterback settled, Nix in the fold, and a B+ for the Patriots.

Start where it matters. The Patriots took Bo Nix to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

They are betting Lindberg proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Spending an early pick on linebacker with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
