Start where it matters. The Patriots took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Jordan. The Jennings pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The veteran additions, Khalil Mack chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
