After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Jacobs falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The Legette reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
