Grand theft in the 224th overall pick: the Patriots steal Berger and grade out a B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Patriots should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The Berger steal is the beam this whole class leans on. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The veteran additions, Justin Fields chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
