Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall D+
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
The Eagles bled value on every deal, hence the D+.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Eagles, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. The Gill-Howard pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Ioane pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Avieon Terrell
In slot 23 they get a press-man option on the boundary at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick54 Rnd2 Olaivavega Ioane
A tidy bit of business in Round 2, Pick 22, where Olaivavega Ioane graded well above the range. The roster fit checks out.
Pick68 Rnd3 Eli Stowers
Fair-plus on Eli Stowers, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick85 Rnd3 Omar Cooper Jr.
A tidy little value on Omar Cooper Jr. in the 85th overall pick, a step better than break-even. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick98 Rnd3 Caden Curry
A straight-up fair deal on Caden Curry at the 98th pick, value and slot in agreement. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick122 Rnd4 Skyler Gill-Howard
They went early on Skyler Gill-Howard in pick 122, and the value did not follow. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick130 Rnd4 Kage Casey
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Kage Casey. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick137 Rnd4 Jaden Greathouse
By-the-book stuff, Jaden Greathouse at the Round 4 slot squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick151 Rnd5 Bryce Boettcher
A reach on Bryce Boettcher in pick 151; the board had better options right there. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick179 Rnd5 Bud Clark
They paid sticker price for Bud Clark in pick No. 179, and that is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick201 Rnd6 Jalon Daniels
They let Jalon Daniels come to them and pounced at slot 201. It fills a real need, too.
