Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Dominic Zvada at pick No. 242 is 62 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. With quarterback, cornerback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Styles. The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
